Free Nutrition Facts Label Generator (FDA-Style)

Enter the amounts for your own recipe below and the label updates live, styled to match the real FDA nutrition facts format.

It's free to use, no account needed, and good enough to screenshot straight into a recipe post. (I'm speaking from experience!)

% Daily Value is calculated automatically from a standard 2,000 calorie diet, the same reference used on real nutrition labels.

How this nutrition label generator works

Type in the raw amounts for your recipe (calories, fat, sodium, carbohydrates, and so on) and the label builds itself in the same layout as the label on the back of a packaged food product.

The % Daily Value column is calculated automatically, using the same standard reference values the FDA uses for a 2,000-calorie diet (for example, 2,300mg of sodium or 78g of fat per day). No calculations needed from you!

Frequently asked questions

Is this free to use?

Yes! No account, signup, or payment required. I built this because I couldn't find a free version online that didn't make you jump through hoops for something so simple!

How accurate are the % Daily Value numbers?

They're calculated using the standard FDA reference daily values for a 2,000-calorie diet, the same baseline used on real packaged food labels. For an official label on a commercial product, values should be verified against current FDA labeling requirements.

Can I download the label as an image?

There's no built-in download button but you can screenshot it!
